I wonder why he doesn't like it?

I have volunteered at Day Camp for Cub Scouts. It is largely used by working mothers as paid daycare. Secondarily stay at home moms use it for a break and to keep the kids busy and get stuff done at home. This I know from THEM telling me! I'm not making this up.

He may be bored. The camp may stink. Maybe a problem is there. Maybe the teachers stink or are not running a tight ship. Maybe the kids are cruel. There are reasons I am sure.

I have no reason to believe that there is anything superior for a 5 year old to do or learn at summer day camp except maybe swimming lessons, than a mother can do at home or fun that can be had at home with family.

Enjoy your son!!
