Foreign films for kids
For some reason we haven’t managed to get to NYC to see the International Films for kids. I love them, especially the creative little short films. Visiting the website is the next best thing. They have so many short films on their site that you can watch for free. They also have great DVD recommendations of movies that you can get through Netflix. Ponyo, a new Japanese animated film is coming out soon, from the maker of Totoro. It looks fantastic.
Here is a sweet little film if you have 10 minutes. It is a Danish short film about a little boy going on a camping trip. His parents are arguing and he has an encounter with a large animal that is very moving.
