Planning Books
When I first started teaching…that would be about 20 years ago now, one of my most favorite things to do was making grading books. I was teaching Japanese at 5 different schools and had 360 children for a 30 minute class, twice a week! I taught 5th grade through 9th grade and had to keep track of them all.
During that time I designed all kinds of grading sheets, work sheets and photocopy-ables, to make my job manageable. I loved doing that almost more than teaching, which became somewhat automatic with so many repetitions of the same class.
I used to collate and spiral bind them
and I felt very organized and efficient…which was a good thing as my Japanese needed some improvement!
That feeling came back to me when I discovered Donna Young’s planning website which has a whole selection of free downloads of planners for homeschoolers.
I am going to get started right now. I might even buy one of those spiral binding machines…well it is Mother’s Day!

An engagement “rig” instead of ring, no jewelry, no superficial attraction to brands, a binding machine for mother’s day and most precious of all, an unwavering loving dedication to your passion and those close to you….They broke the mold when they made you and I am really, really proud to be near the only one in existence!!!!
